Job Title: Heavy Equipment Transporter
We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Transporters to join our team in Dibba-El-Fujairah, UAE. As a Heavy Equipment Transporter, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of heavy equipment to various job sites. This position is open to all nationalities and does not include accommodation.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and drive heavy equipment transport trucks to deliver equipment to job sites
- Secure equipment properly using chains, straps, and other fastening devices
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment
- Maintain accurate records of delivery times, mileage, fuel consumption, and any issues encountered during transportation
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road
- Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules
- Perform routine maintenance on trucks as needed
Requirements:
- Must have a valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Minimum of 2 years experience transporting heavy equipment
- Ability to read maps and follow GPS directions
- Strong communication skills in English
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent driving record with no traffic violations or accidents in the past 3 years
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, or cranes
- Knowledge of basic truck maintenance and repair techniques
- Familiarity with UAE roads and traffic laws
