- Promptly take orders from guests and deliver food and beverage items to their rooms, ensuring accuracy and presentation meet the resort's standards.
- Provide attentive service, regularly checking on guests to ensure their needs are met and that they are completely satisfied with their dining experience.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure a timely and smooth delivery of orders and maintain communication regarding any special requests or modifications.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the in-room dining area, including the presentation of room service menus and promotional materials.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with a positive attitude, resolving any issues to ensure a memorable experience.
- Process payments efficiently and accurately, adhering to the resort's cash handling and security policies.
- Assist in other areas of the restaurant when necessary, including setting up for events or serving in other dining rooms.
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience as an In Room Dining Server or in a similar role within a luxury hospitality environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Physical ability to carry trays and lift items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
