Apt Resources is excited to announce an opportunity for a General Accountant to join the UHNWF (Ultra High Net Worth Family) Office. This unique position is ideal for an experienced accountant eager to work in a dynamic and high-stakes environment. As the General Accountant for the UHNWF Office you will be responsible for managing complex financial transactions preparing detailed financial reports and providing critical insights to assist with wealth management strategies.
- Manage financial transactions and maintain records for various assets and investments managed by the UHNWF Office
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements reports and dashboards for analysis and decision-making
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes ensuring timely and accurate processing
- Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts investment portfolios and other financial records
- Support tax planning and compliance efforts liaising with external advisors as necessary
- Analyze financial performance and provide strategic insights to senior management
- Ensure adherence to relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Assist with audits and other financial reviews
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience with a focus on wealth management or family office environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficient in financial software and tools including accounting platforms and Excel
- Exceptional analytical and organizational skills
- Meticulous attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to present financial information clearly
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- CPA or equivalent certification is highly desirable
- Experience working with high net worth individuals or family offices is a plus
AED 9000 to AED 11000 All in plus usual benefits as per UAE labour laws. Yearly ticket allowance of AED 3500/-
