JOB TITLE
Senior Associate, Legal | Majid Al Futtaim Properties | Asset Management

ROLE SUMMARY
The job holder will assist the Senior Legal Counsel and/or Associate Manager and ensure that the legal team is performing its role effectively within the Asset Management Business Unit by independently processing the legal documents/contracts; i.e., execution, summary reporting, and invoice processing.

ROLE PROFILE

• Drafting and solidify Majid Al Futtaim Properties’ agreements, Memorandum of Understanding, Non-Disclosure Agreements, and other legal documents to ensure the company’s full legal rights.
• Attending meetings with Short-Term Rental leasing team and represent the company in such meetings.
• Attending the bi-weekly internal meetings with the different departments to give updates and show support in the day to day challenges.
• Doing law researches and identify potential legal risks that may have an effect on business decisions and operations.
• Preparing and reviewing all the needed legal documents related by the corporate matters such as invitations, briefing letters.
• Communicating and negotiating with governmental external parties (regulators, external counsels, public authority etc.) to create relations of trust.
• Reviewing the sustaining legal documents in relation to the contracts that need to be reviewed by the Senior Legal Counsel and/or Associate Manager, upon receiving the same from the internal client.
• Assisting the Senior Legal Counsel and/or Associate Manager in preparing certain legal documents, such as briefing letters for filling legal actions addressed to external lawyers and legal notices.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Law.
• Minimum 4 to 6 years of work experience in a reputed commercial legal firm or real estate development company,
• Very good English level.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
