Job summary
A leading financial organization in Abu Dhabi seeks a Senior Associate – General Ledger to maintain the integrity of financial records. Responsibilities include processing journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and collaborating with various finance teams. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, at least 5 years of experience, and proficiency in ERP systems like SAP or Oracle Fusion. Qualifications
- Minimum 5 to 6 years of experience in accounting.
- Experience in a shared services or group environment is a plus.
- Proven expertise in preparing and analyzing financial statements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely journal entries.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts monthly.
- Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
