About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to design, implement, and manage edge computing solutions that meet our clients dynamic needs. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate edge computing technologies into business solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. Location. This role is remote in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Solution Design: Lead the architecture and design of edge computing solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practices.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical expertise on edge platforms, cloud integration, and IoT systems to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Client Engagement: Work with stakeholders to understand business needs, translating them into technical requirements and deliverables.
• Integration: Design and oversee the integration of edge systems with cloud services, AI/ML frameworks, and other enterprise systems.
• Scalability and Performance: Ensure edge solutions are optimized for performance, latency, and scalability.
• Security: Incorporate robust security measures into the architecture to protect data and applications at the edge.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed architectural documentation, best practices, and technical guidelines.
  
  

Education

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  
  

Experience

• 7+ years in solution architecture or related roles.
• 3+ years in designing and implementing edge computing or IoT solutions.
  
  

Technical Expertise

• Strong knowledge of edge platforms like AWS IoT Greengrass, Microsoft Azure IoT Edge, or Google Anthos.
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks and their deployment at the edge.
• Understanding of network protocols, 5G, and real-time processing systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and hybrid cloud-edge environments like Azure Stack, AWS Outpost or Google Anthos.
  
  

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and presentation skills to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or related technologies.
• Knowledge of industry-specific edge computing applications (e.g., manufacturing, healthcare, smart cities).
