LED Screen and AV Technician
Job summary
A Dubai-based events company is seeking a skilled LED Screen and AV Technician. Responsibilities include setting up and maintaining LED display systems and AV equipment for events. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience, strong technical proficiency, and the ability to troubleshoot under pressure. Knowledge of LED technology and proficiency in signal flow are essential. A UAE driving license is preferred.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience as an LED Technician or AV Technician in events or live production.
- Strong understanding of LED technologies and AV systems.
- Proficiency with signal flow and media playback software.
- Ability to read technical drawings and perform precise setups.
- Fluent in English; additional languages (Arabic, Hindi, Urdu) a plus.
- Physically fit and able to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
- UAE driving license preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assemble, install, and dismantle LED video walls and LED dance floors.
- Configure and align LED panels, processors, and signal flow.
- Manage video signal routing, cabling, and power distribution.
- Operate and maintain AV systems including audio mixers and media servers.
- Troubleshoot LED panels, processors, and playback systems during events.
- Coordinate with designers and editors for smooth content playback.
- Support loading, transport, and on-site logistics of technical equipment.
- Keep detailed records of equipment inventory and maintenance.

- Manage video signal routing, cabling, and power distribution.
- Operate and maintain AV systems including audio mixers, lighting controllers, and media servers.
- Troubleshoot LED panels, processors, and playback systems during events.
- Coordinate with designers and editors to ensure smooth content playback.
- Support with loading, transport, and on-site logistics of technical equipment.
- Keep detailed records of equipment inventory, maintenance, and repairs.
- Follow safety protocols during installation and dismantling.

- Strong understanding of LED technologies and AV systems.
- Proficiency with signal flow (HDMI, SDI, CAT6, fiber) and media playback software (Resolume, Watchout, or similar).
