Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced BIM/CAD Technician to work on infrastructure and dry utilities projects. The ideal candidate will have a diploma or engineering degree and at least 3 years of CAD drafting experience in similar projects. Familiarity with relevant software tools like AutoCAD and MicroStation is essential. This role requires effective communication skills in English and experience with local authority regulations.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of MEA/UAE CAD drafting experience in infrastructure and dry utilities projects.
  • Experience on infrastructure dry utilities mainly MV, LV Power Distribution, Street Lighting.
  • Knowledge on local authority electricity standards and regulations (DEWA, SEWA, Etihad WE, DM) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with CAD & BIM Managers and Design Leads to complete project deliverables.
  • Review each drawing for readability, presentation, and adherence to standards.
  • Collaborate and communicate with other disciplines on coordination issues.
