Job summary
A prominent real estate firm in Dubai is seeking a Technical Manager to oversee the engineering designs and manage the technical department. The ideal candidate will lead the team, review technical submissions, and ensure compliance with UAE regulations, particularly for high-rise building projects. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, along with at least 10 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD and Revit is essential.

- Minimum 10 years experience in a technical managerial role focused on high-rise projects.

About the Client: One of the leading construction and real estate development firm based in the UAE specializing in the execution of large-scale high-rise residential projects.
- Lead and manage the technical department, ensuring all engineering designs, documentation, and drawings meet required standards.
- Review and approve technical submissions while ensuring compliance with UAE building codes, local authority regulations, and international standards.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, authorities, and internal teams to resolve design conflicts, propose solutions, and mitigate technical risks.
- Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, support value engineering, and prepare high-level technical reports and updates.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related discipline (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a Technical Manager or similar senior engineering role in the UAE; With proven experience working on high-rise building projects.
- Must have strong understanding of UAE regulations, permitting processes, construction codes, and authority requirements.
- Proficient in engineering design tools and software (AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, etc.).
