About GluCare by meta(bolic)

GluCare is a next-generation, hybrid digital-health ecosystem redefining diabetes and chronic care. As we expand across Dubai and internationally—including new clinics, upgraded facilities, and specialty centers—we are strengthening our internal project and facility management capability. We are seeking a Project & Building Manager – CAD to support multiple construction, renovation, and expansion initiatives across the organization. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical drawing capabilities and hands‑on project management experience who can confidently work with contractors, internal stakeholders, and healthcare teams. Experience in medical or healthcare facility builds is highly advantageous.

Role Overview

The Project & Building Manager – CAD will oversee the planning, design, and execution of multiple facility-related projects at GluCare. You will prepare and review CAD drawings, coordinate with contractors, manage project timelines, and ensure that all construction and refurbishment activities meet operational, regulatory, and clinical standards. This role is both technical and managerial — requiring an eye for detail, strong project delivery skills, and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams and locations.

  1. CAD Design & Technical Drawings: Prepare and modify CAD drawings for clinic layouts, expansions, refurbishments, and engineering plans.

Translate conceptual ideas into technical designs to support contractor execution.

Ensure drawings meet DHA, civil defense, and other regulatory requirements.

Maintain an organized library of as-built drawings, updated floor plans, and project blueprints.

  2. Project Management: Lead end-to-end project management for construction, refurbishment, or facility enhancement projects.

Develop project timelines, deliverables, budgets, and risk assessments.

Coordinate with contractors, interior designers, engineers, and suppliers.

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Document project progress, issues, and escalation points.

  3. Contractor & Vendor Coordination: Manage procurement of materials and services related to facility upgrades.

Communicate design intent clearly to contractors and ensure proper execution.

Evaluate contractor bids, negotiate pricing, and review quotations.

Ensure contractors adhere to timelines, safety protocols, and quality expectations.

  4. Compliance & Healthcare Facility Standards: Ensure all projects comply with DHA facility requirements, Civil Defense and safety regulations, Municipality and building code standards, Infection control, clinical workflow, and healthcare-specific guidelines.

Coordinate with internal clinical teams to ensure facility designs support patient flow and operational needs.

  5. Facilities Oversight Across Multiple Sites: Support ongoing maintenance and improvement of existing GluCare clinics.

Conduct site inspections to assess building conditions, preventative maintenance needs, and improvement opportunities.

Provide technical input for equipment placement, utilities routing, and clinic optimization.

  6. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare weekly project status reports for leadership.

Maintain documentation including contracts, schedules, change orders, and quality reports.

Provide clear handover documentation upon project completion.
