Job summary
A construction firm is seeking an experienced HSE Inspector based in Dubai, UAE. The role requires monitoring site activities to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in engineering, have a minimum of 10 years of HSE Inspector experience, and possess NEBOSH IGC Level 3 certification. Strong communication skills and immediate availability are essential for this position.
Qualifications

- Minimum years of relevant experience in the UAE (mandatory).
- Proven consultant-side experience on construction projects.
- Residential building project experience is mandatory.
- Candidates must be currently based in the UAE.

Job description
About the job HSE INSPECTOR
- Monitor and inspect site activities to ensure compliance with approved HSE plans, project specifications, and UAE regulations.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental policies in line with consultant and client requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments for residential construction activities.
- Identify unsafe acts and conditions, issue corrective actions, and follow up on close‑out.
- Ensure proper implementation of method statements, risk assessments (MSRA), and permit‑to‑work systems.
- Monitor compliance related to PPE usage, scaffolding, excavation works, lifting operations, and work at height.
- Report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; assist in investigations and root cause analysis.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site supervision teams to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, and daily safety logs for consultant review.
- Support HSE meetings, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs on site.
Key Qualifications
