A leading international hospital in Dubai is seeking an experienced and compassionate Wound Care Nurse to join its multidisciplinary clinical team. This is an exceptional opportunity for Western-trained nurses to bring their advanced wound care expertise to a state-of-the‑art medical facility serving a diverse and global patient population.

As a Wound Care Nurse, you will be responsible for the assessment, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with complex wounds, pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, surgical wounds, and other skin integrity issues. Your clinical knowledge, attention to detail, and patient‑centered approach will make a significant impact on healing outcomes and overall patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Perform advanced wound care procedures including debridement, dressing changes, negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT), and pressure injury prevention strategies.
  • Monitor wound healing progress, documenting changes and adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, surgeons, nurses, and other allied health professionals to ensure a holistic and coordinated care approach.
  • Educate patients and families on wound care techniques, post‑discharge care, and prevention strategies.
  • Uphold infection prevention protocols and ensure high standards of patient safety.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation using electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Act as a resource and mentor to other nursing staff in wound care best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent from a recognized institution.
  • Active and valid nursing license in home country or country of current practice.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in wound care, preferably in an acute care or hospital setting.
  • Certification in Wound Care (e.g., WOCN, CWCN, or equivalent) is preferred.
  • BLS certification required; additional certifications such as ACLS are an advantage.
  • Preference given to nurses trained and licensed in the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Culturally sensitive, adaptable, and committed to delivering high‑quality care in a multicultural environment.
  • Willing to relocate and work in Dubai.
