Job summary

A leading engineering solutions provider is seeking a candidate for an engineering role in Abu Dhabi. The position entails managing project coordination, ensuring smooth operations with subcontractors, and overseeing adherence to safety regulations. Applicants should possess a Diploma or Degree in Engineering and ideally have prior experience in a similar role. Responsibilities include monitoring work orders, submitting weekly analyses, and contributing to QHSE compliance and improvements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure seamless collaboration between Workshop and Project Teams.
• Coordinate work order requisitions regarding Drawings Materials and QA/QC documents.
• Monitor material shortages and manhours related to work orders.
• Oversee fabrication schedule linked to work orders.
• Manage subcontractor relations effectively.
• Engage in Project and Workshop Coordination meetings.
• Collaborate with Contract Manager and Project Managers.
• Provide technical assistance as needed.
• Submit weekly Workshop Labour Analysis Sheets.
• Take on additional responsibilities as directed.
• Stay informed about QHSE policies ensuring compliance.
• Coordinate efforts regarding nonconformance in materials/products.
• Lead incident investigations and promote safety.
• Ensure regular inspection and maintenance of workshop equipment.
• Foster collaboration among stakeholders to streamline QHSE activities.
• Work closely with other departmental managers.
