Our client provides program project and construction management services for clients in a range of sectors undertaking major construction projects across the world. Our services include cost engineering and estimating, quality assurance, inspection scheduling, risk management and claims avoidance.

• Mobilizing and managing the multidisciplinary team responsible for the execution of the project and selection of the most cost effective solution
• Preparing the project strategy including contracting strategy/plans and HSEQ plan
• Preparation of the Risk Register and relevant mitigation strategy to address identified uncertainties
• Prepare the work program and budget for the project
• Managing and supervising the project activities
• Managing and supervising the bid phase up to contract award preparing the Field development plan and the project execution plan coordinating project approval
• Executing and completing the project in accordance with the approved development program and budget
• Establishing project procedures and policies in accordance with COMPANY standards
• Managing day to day progress of the project operations optimizing the use of the budget
• Reporting the project progress and cost trends to COMPANY Management
• Reviewing and approving the authorization for payments
• Reviewing assessing and approving any contract variation

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science Degree (B. Sc) in Mechanical/ Chemical / Structural
• Professionally qualified engineer and / or member of professional Project management association
• At least 15 years experience in the oil and gas industry in both on shore and offshore facilities At least 5 years experience in project management roles
• Experienced in project management techniques and contract management
