Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Welder to join our team in Zayed City. The Welder will be responsible for joining metal components together using manual and automated welding equipment. The Welder will be required to perform a variety of welding processes including MIG, TIG, stick welding, and flux-cored arc welding (FCAW). This position is open to both local and foreign candidates.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings to understand the welds that must be performed
• Set up, assemble, and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
• Select appropriate filler rods or wires based on the metals being welded together
• Follow safety protocols at all times when working with hazardous materials such as gases and electricity
• Inspect welds for accuracy using a variety of tools such as measuring tapes, gauges, calipers, etc.
• Repair any faulty welds by grinding down the area and re-welding it
• Maintain a clean work area by removing all debris on a daily basis

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in welding with both manual and automated equipment
• Ability to read blueprints or technical drawings accurately
• Working knowledge of safety protocols when operating hazardous materials such as gases and electricity
• Familiarity with various types of welding processes including MIG, TIG, stick welding, etc.
