Job Requirements :

The role requires strong WordPress development experience, solid web development and ecommerce skills, and up-to-date knowledge of design and technology. The candidate should be able to design, implement and manage WordPress sites, create plugins and themes, and maintain high standards for usability, accessibility, and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage websites using WordPress.
• Create WordPress plug-ins and themes.
• Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferable code.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and UI quality; follow security principles and object-oriented design.
• Assist in multimedia content development.
• Custom ACF (Custom Fields and Field Groups) usage.
• Proficient understanding of MVC design patterns.
• Experience with development life cycle tools (Git, SQL, CI/CD).
• Test websites for gaps or issues; troubleshoot and resolve problems.
• Use debugging tools (e.g., Firebug, Chrome Inspector).
• Understand accessibility and security compliance; optimize media assets (images, videos, gifs).
• Track analytics, monitor visitors, and identify ways to increase traffic.
• Carry out regular site maintenance and front-end/back-end data integration.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 5 years experience.
• WordPress experience.
• Basic knowledge of SEO and SEM.
• Strong web development and ecommerce skills.
• Experience with design, implementation and management of WordPress sites.
• Experience creating WordPress plugins and themes.
• Working knowledge of Photoshop.
• Well versed in WooCommerce.
• Up-to-date with latest trends in design and technology.
• Ability to ideate and create website layouts for Brand Platforms and clients.
• Create user-friendly interfaces that are presentable, functional and optimized.
• Proficient in JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, etc.
• Maintain clean, commented, and transferable code.
• Familiarity with UI design, web services (REST/SOAP), and security concepts.
• Experience in front- and back-end data integration and web development.
• Experience with debugging tools and responsive design techniques.
• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance.

Preferred

• Understanding of Google Analytics and ECommerce view.
• Basic SEM and SEO knowledge; SEO analytics.
• AdWords / Analytics certification.
