Lead day‑to‑day warehouse operations, ensuring safety, efficient processes, accuracy, damage‑free handling, and on‑time, in‑full shipments; develop, implement, and monitor warehouse protocols aligned with supply chain objectives; allocate resources to meet operational requirements to ensure the availability and delivery of all goods; identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance operational efficiency; and coach and develop the team, uphold safety and quality standards, and continuously improve processes and KPIs.

What you’ll be doing:
Safety:
  • Run daily toolbox talks and pre‑shift briefings; enforce PPE and safe behaviors. Daily safety walks.
  • Drives a “stop work if unsafe” culture.
  • Conduct and document risk assessments (LMRA’s), near‑miss and incident reporting together with corrective actions.
  • Ensure daily equipment pre‑inspection are completed and follow up with maintenance for repairs etc.
  • Ensure housekeeping and 5S standards; keep aisles (forklift/pedestrian), docks, and emergency exits clear.
Operations:
  • Plan, monitor and Align with Dispatch, Supply Chain and Production teams for all incoming and outgoing materials on a daily/weekly/monthly basis to ensure personnel and equipment availability.
  • Plan weekly shifts outlining personnel with duties, priorities etc.
  • Execute the daily plan: Receiving, put‑away, order assemble, loading etc.
  • Prioritize daily tasks per shift and assign staff together with both dispatch and SC teams.
  • Align with Production, Planning and Order Management on the production plan and allocate materials accordingly within the warehouse: warehouse utilization, capacity planning.
  • Raise claims for all discrepancies, damages etc. for inbound trading/merchandise materials as well as owned produced products; segregating materials into quarantine areas and follow with relevant departments to clear physical and in SAP.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Inventory:
  • Maintain a high‑level inventory accuracy through periodical cycle counts, reconciliations, root‑cause analysis, and process corrections.
  • Maintain and monitor FIFO/FEFO for all materials and highlight to relevant stakeholders/product managers on slow moving/aging/expiring materials.
  • Perform quarterly inventory counts, reconcile, manage discrepancies/investigate and report.
People:
  • Develop and implement training programs to improve warehouse staff skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct quarterly performance evaluations and provide coaching and guidance to all warehouse personnel.
  • Build engagement and accountability, model safe and compliant behavior.
Reporting
  • Monitor, analyse and report warehouse performance metrics, including inventory levels, shipping and receiving rates, and order fulfilment rates.
  • Weekly and monthly reporting as aligned with Head of Department.
General
  • Develop and implement training programs to improve warehouse staff skills and knowledge.
  • Conduct quarterly performance evaluations and provide coaching and guidance to all warehouse personnel.
  • Maintain close collaboration with all HOD’s and their key personnel.

  • Very well experienced in all WH & Supply Chain Functions.
  • Extensive experience in Warehousing, Logistics and operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate data into high‑level analysis
  • Experience in process improvement and Project Management.
  • Proficient in Warehouse, Logistics and Transport IT systems/software (WMS, TMS etc. an advantage.
  • Excellent communication. people and leadership abilities.
  • High level of accuracy as well as structured way of working.
  • Business‑oriented degree in Supply Chain and Logistics fields and/or 7 to 10 years relevant experience.
  • Ability to work with self‑motivation under tight timelines.
  • Fluent in English – the respective language of the country is a plus.
