Job Purpose

The Premium Lounge Waiter/Waitress plays a vital role in ensuring that all Premium Lounge clientele—including passengers, civil aviation officials, airport authorities, airline representatives, and external consumers—receive the highest-quality culinary services efficiently and effectively. The role requires professionalism and the ability to maintain a calm and positive attitude in all situations. This position is responsible for upholding high standards of culinary and beverage service within Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC) lounges and restaurants.

Key Results Areas
  1. Deliver high standards of service to ensure all customers and guests enjoy an exceptional experience.
  2. Assist with table service and maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas by promptly clearing dishes.
  3. Follow standard opening and closing procedures to ensure outlets are properly prepared.
  4. Comply with company hygiene policies and procedures to ensure proper food and equipment handling.
  5. Address customer complaints satisfactorily or escalate to the supervisor when necessary.
  6. Maintain sufficient stock throughout the shift, checking quality and quantity of received items, and ensuring proper storage or display.
  7. Perform assigned tasks such as wiping, cleaning, polishing, organizing, collecting, loading, and dispatching in line with Emirates Flight Catering standards.
  8. Apply the EKFC Quality Policy and Quality System in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards, ensuring responsibilities are executed as per departmental procedures.
Education & Qualifications
  • High school certification (required)
  • Diploma or equivalent qualification (preferred)
Work Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the hospitality industry
