We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions #QualityAssuranceLead to establish, oversee and enhance the quality assurance processes within IT solution delivery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development lifecycle management, quality assurance methodologies, and regulatory compliance. This role will be responsible for ensuring that all IT solutions meet high-quality standards, are free from defects, and comply with regulatory requirements. This role should work closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring the development of reliable, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and enforce a structured QA process for all IT solutions, ensuring that quality checks, validation, and testing are integral to the development lifecycle.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive checklist to standardize testing across solutions, ensuring consistency, thoroughness, and adherence to best practices.
- Lead efforts in identifying, tracking, and resolving issues and defects across the solution development process, ensuring the delivery of bug-free products.
- Work closely with Solution Architects, Business Analysts, developers, support team, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality objectives, timely identification of issues, and smooth delivery of products.
- Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement by evaluating and enhancing the current QA processes, introducing new tools and methodologies to increase efficiency.
- Establish clear quality metrics and KPIs to track performance and improvements, providing regular reports to senior management on QA progress and product quality status.
- Maintain detailed documentation of testing plans, procedures, issues, and resolutions, ensuring transparency and accountability in the QA process.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices (e.g., manual and automated testing, regression testing, integration testing, etc.).
- Experience with automated testing tools and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- A minimum of 8+ years in a QA or software testing role, with a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- At least 2+ years in a leadership or management role in QA, with experience leading and mentoring teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings and reports clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
