Role

About the role

Reporting to MD, Enterprise & Partnership, the position will be responsible for the generation of new (to NI) Acquiring business from Enterprises in UAE.

Year target note: This role supports Network’s expansion of market share with an annual revenue target for 2025 of US$1.7M in Net Spread.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a Sales Plan for Enterprise Accounts and lead a team of sales professionals to prospect for and close profitable new (to NI) Enterprise accounts, contracts, and deals.
  • Ensure transition of new accounts into client management with seamless handover to the account management team.
  • Provide market intelligence on upcoming opportunities and support the overall business development strategy across all products, including identification of key segments, accounts, and customer propositions.
  • Develop a healthy sales pipeline and support the execution of the sales strategy by identifying opportunities for revenue growth in key accounts.
  • Possess the ability to learn Network’s products and services and present these professionally to the sales team and potential customers.
  • Ensure timely responses to referrals received by the Sales team.
  • Develop appropriate relationships with potential large customers to win profitable business for Network.
  • Negotiate terms with large customers to maximize long‑term profitability.
  • Present Network to large potential clients through direct communication in face-to-face/virtual meetings and email.
  • Generate leads for the Sales team from indirect sources and ensure the Sales team manages the sales process effectively.
  • Achieve individual responsibility for new business revenues from UAE and demonstrate self-management.
  • Represent the company and brand professionally internally and externally and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts, and documentation.
  • Respond to tenders (RFPs) and RFIs in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Technical teams to address Sales Team issues and ensure proactive and responsive client engagement.
  • Ensure pricing of new relationships aligns with the pricing policy by the Sales team.
Qualifications
  • Educational: MBA is required.
  • Professional: At least 10 years of sales experience in the UAE, with at least five years as Head of Sales within a financial institution in the UAE.
  • Experience: Proven track record of cross-selling and opening new business segments; proven account/sales management experience with large corporate clients; experience managing large sales teams.
  • Language: Excellent English required; second language such as Hindi, Urdu, Tagalog, or Arabic is highly desirable.
  • Personal: Outstanding interpersonal, leadership, and teamwork skills; outstanding communication skills (verbal and written); strong conceptual, planning, and directing skills; strong cultural awareness and knowledge.
  • Note: Candidates must have a minimum of an MBA and at least 10 years of sales experience in the UAE, with five years in a head of sales role within a financial institution.
