We re recruiting a Trading Manager for one of our clients based in Dubai UAE.

About Our Client:

Our client based in Dubai provides comprehensive global trade solutions with a focus on commodities trading. They connect markets efficiently, supporting partners with reliable sourcing, timely delivery and expert insights into international trade dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and negotiate with global suppliers for commodities (fertilizers, metals, coal, agro-products, steel, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain relationships with international buyers and distributors
  • Explore new markets for export opportunities in Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America
  • Coordinate shipping, customs clearance and documentation (LCs, Bills of Lading, COA, etc.)
  • Manage Incoterms (FOB, CIF, CFR) and optimize freight costs
  • Monitor commodity price fluctuations and currency risks
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations (sanctions, export controls)
  • Draft and finalize contracts with suppliers and buyers
  • Adjust trading strategies based on geopolitical and economic factors
Requirements:
  • Min 8 10 years of experience in international trade
  • Expertise in Letters of Credit (LCs), bank guarantees and trade finance instruments
  • Strong deal‑making skills with suppliers and buyers across different cultures
  • Successfully executed high‑volume trades
