Overview

The Role Results-driven Mechanical Technical Engineer with 7-8 years of experience in the UAE construction sector, specializing in the design, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems for large-scale construction projects. Skilled in coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely project delivery, adherence to safety standards, and compliance with local regulations. Adept at troubleshooting complex mechanical issues and optimizing building mechanical services to enhance efficiency and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Technical Documentation – Preparing detailed submittals, including specifications, drawings, and compliance reports.
• Material & Equipment Approval – Ensuring all electrical components meet project requirements and standards.
• Regulatory Compliance – Verifying adherence to local and international electrical codes.
• Coordination with Suppliers – Gathering technical data and certifications from vendors.
• Clarifications & Negotiations – Addressing consultant queries and ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Design & Specification Review – Collaborating on electrical system designs and modifications.
• Problem Resolution – Identifying and resolving technical concerns raised by the consultant.
• Meeting & Presentation – Presenting submittals professionally and defending technical choices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in construction projects, especially within the UAE or GCC region.
• Knowledge of UAE building codes, standards, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office suite.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Certifications

• UAE safety certifications (OSHA, NEBOSH, etc.)
• HVAC or Fire Protection certifications (if applicable)
• AutoCAD / Revit certifications
