Job summary

A leading technology solutions provider is seeking a Technical Accounts Manager in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will manage pre-sales activities for key accounts, develop technical solutions, and lead client engagement. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years' experience in IT Security or technology solutions, possess strong negotiation and communication skills, and hold a valid UAE driving license. This role also supports sales and execution teams, driving strategic account growth.

Overview

𝐉𝐎𝐁 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘

As a Technical Accounts Manager, you will manage all pre-sales activities for assigned key accounts, including developing integrated technical and commercial solutions, leading bids and proposals, and engaging with clients to define requirements. The role also supports sales and project teams, drives strategic account growth, and provides leadership to the presales function.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Computer Science) or Business Administration; Master’s degree or vendor certifications are an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Security or technology solution design and presales execution
  • Mandatory UAE market experience; GCC exposure is preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge of security systems, networking, and IT infrastructure
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills
  • Strong commercial acumen, pricing knowledge, and negotiation skills
  • Dynamic, presentable personality with the ability to adapt and learn new technologies
  • Valid UAE driving license is mandatory
Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee all presales activities for assigned accounts and presales team members
  • Develop integrated technical designs and commercial pricing for bids and proposals
  • Participate in sales meetings, client presentations, and solution demonstrations
  • Gather client requirements, conduct site surveys, and coordinate with consultants and stakeholders
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals, including BoQs and system specifications
  • Coordinate with engineering, project management, finance, and AutoCAD teams during bid and execution phases
  • Lead presales personnel by providing guidance, performance monitoring, and training support
  • Support business development initiatives, key account management, and client relationship retention
  • Handover complete project documentation to Project Managers post-award and support execution follow-ups
  • Maintain presales activity reports and provide strategic feedback to management
  • Travel for client meetings, site visits, and business development activities as required
