Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Supervisor Warehouse Operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in supply chain management, distribution, and logistics. They must demonstrate expertise in leveraging technology to optimize warehouse processes and bring an innovative, creative mindset to problem-solving and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Warehouse Operations
    • Supervise day-to-day operations in the furniture department, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods.
    • Ensure optimal utilization of warehouse space while maintaining inventory accuracy.
  • Supply Chain Systems
    • Extract and analyze reports on a day-to-day basis.
    • Utilize supply chain portals and warehouse management systems (WMS) to monitor and manage inventory.
    • Provide training and support to staff for effective system usage.
  • Technology Integration
    • Identify and implement technological advancements to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.
    • Analyze data and generate insights for performance improvement.
  • Innovative Problem-Solving
    • Apply design thinking principles to develop creative solutions for operational challenges.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new workflows and processes.
  • Distribution and Logistics
    • Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of furniture products.
    • Monitor and manage shipping schedules to meet customer expectations.
  • Team Leadership
    • Manage and motivate warehouse staff, ensuring high productivity and compliance with safety standards.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Compliance and Reporting
    • Ensure adherence to company policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
    • Generate regular reports on inventory, operational efficiency, and departmental performance.
    • Warehouse HSE and Safety Compliance and standards are maintained.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering.
  • 0-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in furniture or a similar industry.
  • Age below 35 Only
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and foster a culture of innovation.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication and team building skills
  • Preferred: Power Query, Power BI, Python, & SAS
  • Ability to Negotiate well
  • Ability to think logically and creatively
  • Strong decision-making skills and ability to thrive under pressure
  • Must: MS Office, Advanced Excel, proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) like SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Associates and inventory software.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as Power BI or Tableau for visual analytics.
