In this critical role, you will provide expert care for newborns and infants, particularly those who are premature or require special medical attention due to health complications.

Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and treating a range of neonatal conditions, overseeing the care of infants in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit), and collaborating closely with pediatricians, nurses, and specialists to ensure a holistic approach to each patient’s care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive medical care for newborns and infants, particularly those in critical condition.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for neonatal patients.
  • Perform necessary procedures and interventions, including intubation and placement of central lines.
  • Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans based on patient needs and responses.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate and support families regarding their infant’s health and treatment options.
  • Participate in discussions regarding the ethical and clinical aspects of neonatal care.
  • Engage in continuing education and stay current with advancements in neonatal medicine.
  • Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Work full time (Working Time is Full Time).
