Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:

  • The Specialist is a supervisory role.
  • The role holder is responsible for ensuring that client onboarding to FAB books (Bancassurance) is of good quality and complies with UAE Central Bank and Bank policies and procedures. The role leads a team to ensure customer details are captured professionally, accurately, and meaningfully in the relevant system, including adherence to Service Standards (SLAs & KPIs), operational risk management, people management, and operational efficiency.
Key Accountabilities
  • Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Demonstrate compliance with the organization’s values and ethics at all times to support a value-driven culture within the bank.
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes, and practices, considering global standards, productivity improvement, and cost reduction.
Reporting
  • Assist in preparing timely and accurate statements and reports to meet department requirements, policies, and quality standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Commerce, Banking, Finance, or Economics.
  • At least 5 years of relevant banking sector experience, with a minimum of 2 years in similar supervisory roles within the unit function.
