Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker for one of our leading client (school) in Al Ain. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in fostering a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment by addressing the social, emotional, and psychological needs of students. You will collaborate with educators, families, and external agencies to develop individualized support plans, promote student well‑being, and ensure equitable access to education. Your expertise in trauma‑informed practices, crisis intervention, and family engagement will be instrumental in helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. This position is critical in advancing our mission to support the holistic development of every learner, particularly those facing adversity or systemic challenges.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized student support plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide one‑on‑one counseling and group interventions to support students experiencing emotional distress, trauma, or behavioral challenges.
  • Serve as a liaison between students, families, school staff, and community‑based agencies to coordinate care and resources.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions for staff and parents on topics such as mental health awareness, resilience building, and inclusive practices.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
  • Advocate for students’ rights and needs within the educational system, ensuring equitable treatment and access to services.
  • Respond promptly to crisis situations, including mental health emergencies, family crises, or safety concerns.
  • Collaborate with school leadership to develop and implement school‑wide strategies promoting positive behavior and emotional well‑being.
  • Utilize relevant systems and tools, including SAP NetWeaver AS, for data management, reporting, and case tracking.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a related field; Master’s degree is highly preferred.
  • Valid professional license or certification in social work (e.g., LCSW, MSW, or equivalent).
  • 4–5 years of experience working in educational or community‑based settings, with a focus on student support services.
  • Proven experience in crisis intervention, case management, and trauma‑informed care.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust with diverse populations, including students, families, and educators.
  • Proficiency in SAP NetWeaver AS for managing case data, reporting, and system integration.
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
