Job summary

A leading hotel group in Abu Dhabi is seeking a friendly F&B attendant to provide exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking food and beverage orders, and ensuring timely service. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to help guests. This is a full-time position with no remote work option.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an F&B attendant or in a similar customer service role is preferred.

Job description
  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude as they arrive at the restaurant.
  • Present menus to guests answer questions about menu items and make recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and enter them into the POS system.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately ensuring proper plating and presentation.
  • Anticipate guests needs and promptly respond to requests for additional items or condiments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests attending to their inquiries and resolving any concerns or complaints.
  • Monitor tables to ensure that guests have everything they need including refilling drinks and clearing plates.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and other staff members to ensure smooth and timely service.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately following proper cash handling procedures.
  • Assist in setting up and cleaning dining areas including arranging tables setting up utensils and maintaining cleanliness throughout the shift.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as an F&B attendant or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail in order taking, food and beverage service, and table set up.
  • Friendly and outgoing personality with a genuine desire to provide exceptional service.
