Job Title: Senior Test Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Senior Test Engineer with strong experience in Quality Assurance (QA) specifically within the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have handson expertise in testing applications related to motor and/or medical insurance lines of business (LOBs).

You will play a critical role in ensuring the quality functionality and reliability of insurance applications through comprehensive testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop document and execute test plans test cases and test scripts.
• Perform functional regression system and integration testing.
• Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand requirements and translate them into test scenarios.
• Identify document and track bugs or issues to closure.
• Ensure that applications meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and assist endusers during the testing process.
• Continuously enhance testing processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills

• 35 years of strong experience in QA/Test Engineering.
• Solid understanding and practical experience in motor and/or medical insurance applications testing.
• Experience in creating detailed comprehensive and wellstructured test plans and test cases.
• Handson experience with defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA HP ALM Bugzilla).
• Knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Good to Have

• Experience in automation testing tools will be an added advantage.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Familiarity with database querying for backend testing.
