A global engineering firm is seeking a Technical Manager to support the delivery of engineering solutions in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience, including 5 years in a similar role within the Middle East. Responsibilities include overseeing infrastructure design, ensuring compliance with local standards, and effective communication with various stakeholders. This position offers the chance to significantly influence Abu Dhabi's development projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years overall experience.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role.
• Minimum of 5 years working in the Middle East.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• High standard of spoken and written English; Arabic is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of the Villa and infrastructure design production process.
• Assist the management team in project planning.
• Provide technical input in the design activities.
• Ensure project KPIs and directions are communicated clearly.
• Status reporting on design milestones and risks.
• Participate in feasibility studies and vendor selections.
• Act as an internal quality control check for design documentation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE legislation and standards.
• Manage technical issues and risks to mitigate impacts.
• Capture and share lessons learned.
