Job description
Position Summary

The Senior Technical Developer – OIC and ERP will support the ICT & IT Security Department in designing, developing, and maintaining Oracle Fusion technical components, and reporting. Ensures seamless data exchange between enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, SaaS platforms, and internal applications, they will also be responsible for maintaining and enhancing Delegation of Authority (DOA) workflows applications and standard workflows within Oracle Fusion Applications, as well as custom workflows and applications developed using Oracle VBCS and APEX.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain secure, scalable integrations between on‑premises and cloud‑based systems, including Oracle Fusion, Ellucian Banner, and various SaaS platforms across Oracle Fusion HCM, Finance, PPM, EPM, and Supply Chain modules.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Business Teams, IT security, DBAs, software developers, and system administrators to deliver cohesive and secure integration solutions and reports and understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Define, establish, and enforce standards and best practices for API development, system integration, data exchange, and middleware use.
  • Manage integrations for enterprise systems in HR, Finance, Procurement, and Student Information, ensuring consistent and optimized data flow.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for all integrations, APIs, configurations, and dependencies to support operations and audits.
  • Support change management, deployment process, and post‑deployment validation.
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom workflows, interfaces, and extensions in Oracle Fusion Applications to support business processes and improve overall system functionality.
  • Update, fix, and perform root cause analysis (RCA) for custom workflows in Fusion Applications.
  • Support and enhance custom workflows for custom applications to improve performance and user experience and ensure better error handling.
  • Drive enhancements to custom applications developed in Oracle PaaS using VBCS and APEX, with a focus on improving usability and efficiency.
  • Design and deliver dashboards on Fusion data across HCM, Finance, SCM, and PPM modules for management and decision‑making.
  • Provide support and guidance to IT and Business teams for the implementation and operation of production in conjunction with the implementation partner.
  • Support Oracle Fusion post‑implementation for HCM/Payroll enhancements, Finance, Procurement, Enterprise Performance Management & Integrations.
  • Update existing reports and continue fine‑tuning and updating reports per business requirements.
  • Research Fusion products to justify recommendations and to support enhancement efforts.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed reports and new enhancements.
  • Support during all phases of report development, production rollout, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for complex technical problems and implement corrective solutions.
  • Share knowledge and technical expertise with the wider team.
Qualifications And Skills Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems.
  • Minimum of 7–9 years of experience in Fusion Applications and Development.
  • Experience as a technical developer in Oracle Fusion, focusing on Oracle ADF, BI Publisher, OTBI, Oracle PaaS, and Fusion Middleware.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Fusion modules such as HCM, Payroll, Finance, EPM, PPM, and Supply Chain.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud technical tasks, including data conversions (HDL/PBL/HSDL), transformation logics, fast formulas, BI/OTBI reports, and HCM extracts.
  • Experience in web services REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Strong programming skills in PL/SQL, Oracle SQL, Java, JavaScript, and Web Services.
  • Experience with Oracle VBCS and APEX is required.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and debugging skills.
  • Self‑motivated, able to work independently and in a team, and capable of multitasking.
  • Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
  • Flexible to work outside regular business hours and be on call as needed.
Preferred Qualifications And Skills
  • Master’s degree in related fields: Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Management Information Systems.
  • Certifications in related technologies (Fusion, Fusion Middleware, Functional & Technical).
  • Knowledge in the following technologies: Banner, Active Directory.
  • Experience in integration or automation tools (Boomi, OIC).
  • Work experience in higher education, corporate IT, or enterprise application environments.
  • EPM technical knowledge will also be considered an added advantage.
