Job Purpose
To provide patient‑centred psychological services, including assessment, crisis intervention, counselling, and psychotherapy in multiple modalities and orientations.
To develop psychological services and increase mental health awareness.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of mental health policies and procedures.
- Provide clinical supervision for trainees and Master’s Level Staff. Conduct professional in‑service training and contribute to community‑based programmes and external trainings.
- Assume all other administrative and managerial duties in the case of serving as the Head of Section.
- Conduct crisis intervention, intake assessments and diagnostic procedures for inpatient and outpatient clients.
- Provide psychotherapy across multiple modalities (e.g., individual, couples, family, and group) and evidence‑based theoretical orientations.
- Conduct psycho‑diagnostic assessment procedures including scoring, interpretation and report writing (applicable to trained professionals only).
- Provide expert advice, liaise and consult with multidisciplinary teams regarding the psychological needs of patients and families, as well as effective patient management.
- Participate in the development and execution of patient advocacy and mental health awareness initiatives.
- Maintain professional documentation and case records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Job Requirement: A Master’s Degree in psychology or counselling, or an equivalent degree.
- Licensure/Registration: According to DHA requirements, training and qualifications.
- Experience: A minimum of 6 years of post‑graduate experience.

Arabic speakers and currently in the UAE with UAE experience.
