Job Summary

Senior Project Surveyor – AECOM Dubai pre-contract team. Working across a wide range of projects, you will plan, coordinate and lead quantity surveying activities to meet client and internal timescales.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist Directors in leading and delivering all aspects of quantity surveying from project inception to completion.
  • Maintain and develop good relationships with clients to reinforce the firm’s profile.
  • Lead deliverables such as feasibility estimates, cost plans, procurement & tendering, and contract awards.
  • Lead measurement activities within the office and value engineering initiatives.
  • Manage resources within the established budget and monitor performance of Project Surveyors and direct reports.
  • Ensure all deliverables comply with the AECOM Project Delivery System.
  • Coordinate with senior staff to allocate adequate resources to complete tasks on required timescales.
  • Possess sound knowledge of all infrastructure works elements and standard measurement methods (CESMM, POMI, NRM).
  • Demonstrate excellent presentation and communication skills.
Qualifications

  • QS or Engineering degree.
  • Pre-contract experience within a consultancy.
  • Extensive exposure to cost planning at all stages.
  • MRICS membership.
