Job Description
The Senior Program Analyst – Technical plays a pivotal role within the Capital Projects and Construction (CP&C) division at Abu Dhabi Airports. The role is responsible for providing advanced technical analysis and support for programs and projects managed across five airports within the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, ensuring successful delivery.
The position focuses on evaluating portfolio and project performance, developing analytical models, and ensuring technical compliance with project objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and project management, with extensive experience in large-scale capital projects.
Responsibilities
Technical Analysis and Evaluation
- Conduct in-depth technical analyses to assess portfolio and project performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure alignment with CP&C project objectives.
- Utilize advanced analytical tools and methodologies to interpret complex datasets related to project metrics, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, detailing project progress, technical assessments, and recommended actions.
- Ensure all technical documentation is accurate, up to date, and compliant with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated analytical models to support decision-making throughout various stages of CP&C project development and execution.
- Implement predictive modeling techniques to forecast project outcomes and support strategic planning.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure technical requirements are clearly defined, understood, and met throughout the project lifecycle.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings to address technical challenges, propose solutions, and align on project deliverables.
CP&C Project Monitoring and Optimization
- Monitor ongoing CP&C project activities to ensure adherence to technical specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Provide actionable recommendations to enhance project efficiency, mitigate risks, and resolve technical issues promptly.
Professional Development and Safety
- Proactively identify and pursue professional development opportunities to enhance leadership and technical skills in line with ADA’s values.
- Participate in performance appraisals and reflect on feedback and development recommendations from the line manager.
- Report hazards or unsafe conditions and follow safety guidelines, encouraging a safe work environment.
Requirements and Skills
Education and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical analysis within large-scale capital projects, preferably in aviation or infrastructure sectors.
- Proven experience managing complex projects from inception to completion, with a focus on technical performance and compliance.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong customer focus and safety & compliance orientation.
- Proficiency in analytical tools and software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and advanced Excel.
- Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and other relevant engineering software is advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in analysis and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced environment.
