About the Job: SENIOR PLANNING ENGINEER
The Senior Planning Engineer will lead planning and scheduling activities for onshore oil and gas projects during the Engineering Phase, including FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detail Design. The role requires an experienced professional capable of managing project schedules, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring adherence to ADNOC standards and project timelines.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent planning software.
- Lead planning activities for FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detail Design deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, identify schedule risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare and review weekly/monthly progress reports, highlighting deviations and schedule forecasts.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to gather planning inputs and ensure integration across disciplines.
- Support resource planning, allocation, and productivity tracking.
- Conduct schedule analysis, critical path assessments, and risk evaluations.
- Ensure all planning activities comply with company procedures and ADNOC planning standards.
- Mentor and guide junior planners, providing technical support and knowledge transfer.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline.
- 10-15 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in onshore oil and gas projects.
- Strong experience in the Engineering Phase FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Detail Design.
- ADNOC project experience is mandatory.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent planning software.
- Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and analytical skills.
- Must be immediately available to join.
