As a Societal Impact Programs Team, we enable governments, foundations and enterprises around the world to fulfill their societal impact objectives. This role combines project management and partnership/client management. You will be responsible for developing, managing, tracking, and ensuring success of our Societal Impact Programs. A key value driver is career outcomes, and the ability to ensure that career outcomes are achieved, tracked, and communicated across government programs is critical. While you don’t have to be a tech expert, you should have knowledge about the tech job market and the skills demanded in it per country and region. Your performance will be measured by how you manage existing partnerships and coordinate with Udacity’s sub-teams (business development, student experience, operations, external global partners and other stakeholders) to ensure partner success and strong student outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a project/program manager for large-scale projects with entities including government entities, semi-government entities, enterprises and donor corporations, primarily in the Middle East with a focus on UAE and KSA (and the GCC more broadly, if needed).
  • Manage senior clients and partner teams directly and independently.
  • Manage end-to-end execution of Societal Impact and Enterprise programs.
  • Measure, analyze and report on program impact outcomes while tracking against KPIs.
  • Maintain high levels of customer engagement and satisfaction with a focus on loyalty, renewals and upsell.
  • Coach customers to be product experts and train their teams on Udacity methodology to become self-sufficient.
  • Identify common customer challenges and suggest better solutions.
  • Problem-solve and conceptualize program elements to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Manage pre-launch processes of Societal Impact and Enterprise programs.
  • Liaise between internal and external stakeholders at milestones to deliver strong program outcomes.
  • Act as the main point of contact for partners and Udacity’s student experience team to address concerns and resolve issues.
  • Support in career-building efforts.
  • Establish relationships with local government and semi-government entities, NGOs, top-tech firms, and universities to develop and roll out training at scale.
  • Contribute to quarterly and annual targets for revenue and users generated through partnerships.
  • Nurture and maintain relationships with integrity and professionalism.

What We Value:

  • Required: Ability to speak and write in English and Arabic fluently and idiomatically.
  • 7+ years experience in end-to-end project management, partnerships and client management, ideally in consulting, education/training, or technology.
  • Experience with government and semi-governmental entities in UAE and KSA.
  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Comfort manipulating large data sets and developing insightful presentations.
  • Proven track record managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders across geographies.
  • Ability to handle mid to senior level stakeholders and interface with partner teams independently.

  • Ability to drive initiatives, execute independently and be resourceful.
