Responsibilities
- Establish and manage a large turnkey program within the Wholesale Banking Group.
- Deliver all activities within agreed time, budget, and quality constraints.
- Acquire resources and coordinate team members and third‑party contractors to implement a customized product solution.
- Interact with business users to gather requirements and oversee the implementation of selected package solutions or system‑based solutions.
- Perform all project management responsibilities, prepare and maintain project plans, monitor progress, and act as liaison between IT and user departments.
- Direct delivery of the program through active sponsorship, leadership, and involvement in initiatives.
- Implement effective review, reporting, and presentation structures for all projects/programs.
- Conduct program evaluations and work closely with key stakeholders responsible for delivery of constituent work streams.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with senior business units.
- Ensure portfolio resources enable operational and strategic capabilities.
- Manage interdependencies, resourcing, and any proposed changes that may affect project priorities.
- Identify resourcing needs aligned with the portfolio plan.
- Establish project scope, estimate, resources, roles, and responsibilities; mobilize the project.
- Monitor and control execution through Analyze, Design, Build, Test, and Release cycles.
- Provide leadership and decision‑making support by establishing governance.
- Manage senior stakeholders to resolve conflicts or disagreements about project priorities.
- Perform project reporting, including overall performance and completion documentation.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of work plans for complex projects spanning multiple business units.
- Provide performance feedback and mentor team members on best practices.
- Participate in hiring, supervising, training, and promotion of candidates as needed.
- Lead a large project for a business unit within time, budget, and specification constraints.
- Coordinate all aspects of a large, complex project involving multiple IT disciplines and other ongoing efforts.
- Manage scope change processes and resolve issues with stakeholders.
- Communicate status to senior leadership and incorporate customer feedback.
- Develop and implement communication plans requiring cultural change within the organization.
- Identify and mitigate risks, and appropriately escape issues to senior management.
- Define quality standards and ensure compliance; prepare project completion documentation and lessons learned.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive bank information and project data.
Qualifications
- 12–15 years of experience.
- Experience handling at least one large implementation in Core Banking or Corporate/Wholesale Banking.
