Our client, a leading international consultancy and advisory firm, is seeking to appoint a Senior Lawyer / Subject Matter Expert (SME) to enhance its legal and compliance capability in the UAE. This high-profile role offers the opportunity to work on complex, multi-jurisdictional projects with direct exposure to government entities, requiring both technical expertise and strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice on contracts, compliance, and risk management across UAE and international projects.
• Draft, review, and negotiate agreements with government authorities, clients, and third-party providers.
• Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, employment regulations, and data protection requirements.
• Track and interpret evolving laws and regulatory frameworks in Dubai and Sharjah, advising senior leadership on implications.
• Act as a trusted advisor to cross-functional teams, embedding legal best practices in project design and execution.
• Lead the development of governance frameworks, ensuring all programs are delivered with legal integrity and accountability.

Ideal Candidate Profile / Qualifications

• Law degree (LLB, JD, or equivalent) with 10+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Proven expertise in handling government-related legal matters.
