A leading construction company in the UAE seeks an experienced HSE Manager - Operations to oversee and manage health & safety operations across the region. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, proven experience in the construction industry, and strong leadership skills. Responsibilities include developing HSE strategies, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with HSE standards. This role requires a proactive approach to health and safety management and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HSE Manager in the construction industry.
• In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.
• Certification in HSE management (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE strategies in alignment with company goals and objectives.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and make recommendations to prevent reoccurrence.
• Provide HSE guidance to HSE Managers and employees.
• Collaborate with HSE managers and site management to address HSE concerns and drive continuous improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant HSE regulations and industry best practices.

Skills

In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations

Strong leadership and communication skills

Experience in creating and implementing safety programs and protocols

Ability to conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to minimize risks
