Senior Executive - Procurement is a mid-to-senior level role responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, from strategic sourcing to vendor performance management. This professional ensures the organization acquires goods and services at the best value while maintaining quality and compliance

Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate potential vendors, conduct market research, and implement innovative, cost-effective procurement strategies.
  • Lead negotiations for favorable pricing, terms, and conditions; draft and review supplier contracts to mitigate risks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, monitor their performance against KPIs, and conduct regular audits.
  • Oversee the full "Procure-to-Pay" (P2P) cycle, including purchase requisitions, purchase order (PO) issuance, and payment reconciliation.
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent shortages or excess stock and drive cost-saving initiatives across the department.
  • Ensure all activities adhere to company policies and legal regulations; prepare MIS reports and budget forecasts for senior management.
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is typically required. Certifications like CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply)
  • 2-7 years of experience in procurement or supply chain
  • Proficiency in ERP systems example Oracle, -procurement software (e.g., Ariba), and MS Office Suite
