Job description

What You Will Be Doing

Planning and executing complex infrastructure changes, including migrations from legacy systems to AWS cloud infrastructure and lift-and-shift migrations

Designing and implementing monitoring plans and building automations for monitoring, software deployments, and operational workflows

Performing system monitoring, system backups, incident response, database migrations, database configurations, and cost optimization

Senior DevOps Engineer Key Responsibilities

• Drive reliability and standardization of cloud infrastructure across our growing product portfolio by implementing robust monitoring, automation, and AWS best practices.
• Strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript for building automation and tooling
• Experience managing and migrating production databases with multiple engines (including MySql, Postgres, Oracle, MS-SQL)
• Advanced Docker / Kubernetes skills
• Experience with infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation)
• Linux systems administration expertise

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position.

The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.

The compensation level for this role is $50 USD / hour, which equates to $100,000 USD / year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.

The payment period is weekly.
