Key Responsibilities
  • Take full responsibility for a designated section of the kitchen.
  • Prepare, cook and present dishes in line with the restaurant's standards.
  • Assist in supervising and training junior chefs and commis.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety (HACCP).
  • Monitor mise en place, portion control and stock levels.
  • Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef on daily operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of your section.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 4 years of experience in a professional kitchen with at least 1 year as a CDP.
  • High School or Diploma graduate in Hospitality Tourism or related field.
  • HACCP Certified with strong knowledge of food safety practices.
  • Solid understanding of various cooking methods and kitchen equipment.
