To contribute and support Planning and Business Excellence Department in delivery of strategic and operational business improvement projects across Al Tayer Group.

Functional Roles and Responsibilities
Change Management & Sustainability
- Support the BE team in the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices taking into account global best standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
Project Management – Project Delivery Support
- Support the BE team in developing detailed proposals and project charters including defining of scope, outlining the work to be performed, budgetary support, schedule and resources needed.
- Support and contribute in implementation of projects, including but not limited to managing distributed tasks, research, data collection and cleansing, financial / statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, solutions development, process modelling, etc.
- Ensure timely execution of project tasks, while adhering to directions from BE team as well as project governance requirements. Support BE team in providing periodic status updates to Project Sponsors and key Stakeholders on project status, progress against actual plan.
- Work closely with BE team for completion of all project tasks and secure Sponsor approval to outcomes / deliverables, update learnings’ log and fulfil adherence to document / knowledge management requirements.
Communication and Networking
- Support the BE Team to promote business excellence initiatives and achieve buy in for new business cases presented to develop the pipelines and drive overall operational efficiency initiatives.
Process Improvement
- Contribute to the execution of the lean methodology concepts and quality assurance standards for assigned functions, ensuring that the integrated management systems and protocols are in place.
- Develop all related reports and statements in a comprehensive, accurate and timely manner, and meet business and functional requirements and standards.
Qualifications
Education/Certification and Continued Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/ Statistics/ Management or equivalent.
- Masters’ degree in Business Administration/ Management, preferred.
- Certification in lean manufacturing/ Six Sigma.
Years of Experience
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a similar role.
Knowledge and Skills
- Knowledge of quality / productivity tools and techniques (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, Theory of Constraints etc.).
- Knowledge of project management processes, methodologies, tools and techniques.
- Project management - Planning and Organising project work across 1-2 work streams on a Project.
- Ability to interpret large quantity of data and identify trends / discrepancies and perform, financial / statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, solutions development, process modelling, etc.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to produce high quality products on time.
- Strong communication, decision making, problem solving, analytical and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
