Overview

Business Banking is a vital segment within MashreqBank's Retail Banking Group, and this role is integral to its success. As a Secretary to the Head of Business Banking, you will be a key support to him/her, assisting with their schedule, travel, and administrative tasks. Your work will ensure the team's efficiency and help create a positive work environment. You will be actively involved in arranging internal and sometimes external events for the team, and will help manage critical processes such as travel management and expense processing.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the Head of Business Banking's calendar, scheduling meetings, and appointments.
  • Arrange travel and accommodations for the Head and their team, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Process invoices and handle other administrative tasks related to Business Banking operations.
  • Organize and coordinate internal events, fostering a positive team culture.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for important documents and records.
  • Assist with report preparation and data analysis as required.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth cross-functional collaboration.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in administrative support.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Head of Business Banking.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in a banking or financial institution.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel.
