Job summary

A prominent UAE infrastructure solutions company is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead their trading division focused on Water and Wastewater Infrastructure. Responsibilities include developing sales strategies, managing vendor approvals, and maintaining client relationships. Ideal candidates must possess at least 10 years of sales experience in the UAE infrastructure market, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, and a deep knowledge of Pumps and DI Pipes.

Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our trading division focused on Water and Wastewater Infrastructure. The ideal candidate possesses deep technical knowledge and a strong network within the UAE construction and infrastructure market.

You will be responsible for driving business growth securing vendor approvals and managing the sales lifecycle for our core product lines: Pumps Ductile Iron (DI) Pipes & Fittings and Valves.

Strategic Sales & Business Development
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets in the Water and Wastewater infrastructure sector.

  • Identify new market opportunities and projects within the UAE (handling inquiries from EPC contractors consultants and government entities).

  • Maintain and expand the customer base by building lasting relationships with key decision-makers.

Product & Technical Expertise
  • Act as the primary subject matter expert for Pumps DI Pipes & Fittings and Valves.

  • Provide technical support and product presentations to consultants and clients to secure product specifications.

  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals that meet client requirements and competitive standards.

Market Management
  • Monitor market trends competitor activities and pricing strategies in the UAE infrastructure market.

Experience & Education
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales experience specifically within the Infrastructure sector.

  • Proven track record in the UAE market is mandatory.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).

  • Deep technical understanding and sales experience with Pumps DI Pipes & Fittings and Valves is non-negotiable.

Skills & Competencies
  • Strong existing network with UAE Infrastructure Contractors and Engineering Consultants.

  • Excellent negotiation communication and presentation skills.

  • Valid GCC Driving License.
