Responsibilities
1. Sales Achievement
- Meet annual sales volume targets from assigned customers and new customers developed.
- Improve quotation-to-order conversion ratio.
- Promote and sell new products/variants approved by Product Development.
2. Gross Profit Management
- Achieve annual gross profit budgets through proper pricing and product mix.
- Ensure compliance with pricing policies and commercial terms.
3. Customer & Market Management
- Secure repeat orders from existing customers and grow business in target segments.
- Maintain regular contact with market sources to gather competitor and project information.
- Build long‑term customer relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.
4. Sales Forecasting & Inventory
- Provide accurate monthly/quarterly sales and collection forecasts.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with internal teams to minimize FG inventories, especially for 3P orders.
5. Sales Process & Reporting
- Ensure efficient execution of the full sales process—from enquiry to payment collection.
- Maintain updated and accurate MIS and CRM entries for opportunities, orders, and customer interactions.
6. Collections & Debtors
- Ensure adherence to credit policy and minimize exceptions.
- Support collections team to reduce overdue payments and prevent bad debts.
Requirements
Education (Essential)
- Graduate in Science or Engineering.
Education (Additional / Desirable)
- Technical certifications or a Sales Management diploma/degree.
- Certifications in related technical or commercial fields.
- MBA is an added advantage.
Experience – Years
- 8–10 years of relevant post‑qualification experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in UAE/GCC markets.
Experience – Description
- Proven Sales / Business Development experience in engineering products (mechanical or electrical).
- Experience selling products related to the construction industry.
- Knowledge of scaffolding products and related sales is an advantage.
- Well‑networked within the relevant industry/market.
Leadership Experience
- Experience managing a team of Sales Executives.
- Demonstrated success in a target‑driven sales environment with measurable achievements.
