Our client is a fast-growing Chinese Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specialising in components and systems for the global renewable energy market. With a strong track record in solar PV, wind, and energy storage solutions, the company has established itself as a trusted supplier to developers, EPCs, and utilities worldwide.
As part of its continued international expansion, the company is seeking a Sales Manager to be based in Dubai, responsible for developing and growing sales across the Middle East and Africa.
The Sales Manager will lead the regional sales effort, working to position the company’s products with key stakeholders in the renewable energy value chain. This includes building strong client relationships, developing regional sales strategies, and supporting commercial negotiations from initial contact to contract closure. The role is ideal for a commercially minded individual with a background in technical sales and a strong interest in clean energy technologies.
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth across the Middle East and African markets
Identify and engage with potential clients including EPCs, project developers, and utilities
Promote a portfolio of renewable energy components and systems, including inverters, mounting systems, transformers, and energy storage solutions
Build strong client relationships through regular communication, site visits, and presentations
Respond to RFPs and coordinate proposal preparation with internal technical and commercial teams
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and policy developments to inform sales strategy
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and trade missions
Collaborate with regional and head office teams to ensure smooth post-sales handover and customer support
Achieve or exceed regional sales targets and provide regular forecasting and reporting
3–5 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in renewable energy or industrial components
Experience in international or cross-border sales strongly preferred
Strong understanding of the renewable energy value chain and procurement processes
Proven ability to manage client relationships and close high-value deals
Technically minded with strong communication and negotiation skills
Fluent in English; Mandarin and/or Arabic is an advantage
Based in Dubai or willing to relocate
