Purpose of the Role
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and executing effective sales strategies for the hotel. This role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and other partners, while promoting the hotel’s services and maximizing occupancy and revenue.
Primary Responsibilities
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve hotel revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including corporate accounts, travel agencies, and event organizers.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.
- Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and sales agreements.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotions, campaigns, and events.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis for management review.
- Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and industry functions.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth delivery of services to clients and guests.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets in line with the hotel’s objectives
Qualification
QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Business, Marketing, or related field
Experience
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel sales or hospitality sales, preferably in a 3–4-star hotel environment, at the same roll.
Skills
SKILLS
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and generating revenue.
- Knowledge of hotel sales systems, CRM software, and market analysis tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Willingness to travel locally or regionally for client meetings and events
