A leading company in the construction industry is seeking a Sales Manager in Ajman, UAE. The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of experience, including 5 years in the UAE/GCC, and strong leadership and sales skills. Responsibilities include achieving sales targets, enhancing sales processes, and managing a team of Sales Executives. A background in engineering products for the construction sector is preferred.
1.Meet the annual budgets in terms of sales volumes from one's allocated customers and any new ones developed within his own market segment while also
1.Meet the annual Gross Profit budget value through a judicious mix of driving sales volumes and right selling prices within the approved Policy guidelines.
2.Keep regular interactions with market sources to obtain relevant info for business and future projects etc.
1.Ensure to provide regular accurate Sales & Collections forecasts from 3Ps to help in many areas – Cash management, inventory, resource planning
2.Monitoring Stocks levels and driving sales coordination efforts to ensure that FG is minimal esp for stocks ordered by 3Ps
1.Ensure Sales process (from Enquiry to Order completion & Payment collection) is followed efficiently, without delays & thus a value-add to customer
2.Ensure adequate and appropriate Sales related MIS inputs are entered into Systems used from Oppty stage till Execution.
1.Ensure adherence to Credit Policy, controlling exceptions requested from Policy & terms
2.Support Collections team / Sales Coordinator for collections through direct involvement as required and thus limit overdue Debtors & bad-debts
Education - essential -Graduate in Science / Engineering
Education - Addnl desirable / advantageous -Any Technical certifications or Sales Management diploma / degree / certifications. MBA would be an advantage.
Experience - years (PQE) -8-10 relevant years of which at least 5 years in UAE / GCC.
Experience - description -Sales / Bus. Devpt experience in engineering products mechanical / electrical. Products should have been related to the construction industry. Knowledge of scaffolding products including sales would be an advantage.Well networked person in his industry.
Leadership experience -Should have managed a team of Sales Execs and with proven success record in a target driven sales environment.
