Fantastic opportunity arisen within a leading ICT company looking for a Sales Director responsible for the development and operation of the Abu Dhabi business unit. The primary objective of the role is to develop the business in both the short and medium term whilst building upon existing client relationships for the delivery of their IT solutions.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Establish, develop, and train a sales organization to address opportunities in Abu Dhabi.
  2. Develop a comprehensive Business Plan for a 5-year period to grow the company.
  3. P&L responsibility for the Abu Dhabi Business Unit.
  4. Tender and bid responsibilities.
  5. Develop and manage major accounts in both the private and government sectors.
  6. Define and develop procedures with the Operational Manager.
  7. Define and develop plans with the Marketing Manager.
  8. Train junior salespeople as required.
  9. Prepare annual budgets and sales forecasts.
  10. Rapidly increase activity to deliver revenues within a 6-12 month period while addressing medium-term opportunities.

The ideal candidate will come from a very strong background in IT / Network Sales and Business Development. You will have experience in building a sales organization with a minimum of 10 years of experience. Ideally, experience in the Abu Dhabi oil and gas market and/or Abu Dhabi market. Hands-on experience with P&L, budgeting, and forecasting. Knowledge of IT/Network solutions including fibre optics, Ethernet, wireless, IP solutions, etc. Bid management, project management, and business development skills. University educated. Ideally living in Abu Dhabi, but relocators are welcome.
